Caleb turns 3!

We celebrated Caleb's birthday this year squeezed in between Christmas's. I must admit it was quite a stressful day, but thanks to my mom and Craig, it actually turned out to be pretty fun, and Caleb was happy, which was the whole point! Between Christmas and his birthday, he made out pretty well, and got a lot of fun "big boy" stuff, including games, books, hotwheels, movies and clothes! (Ok, so the clothes were not exactly his idea of "fun" but they sure made Mommy happy!!)

We also splurged this year and bought him his very first Powerwheels - a Kawasaki Jeep, as both a birthday and Christmas present. Needless to say, he is in love...but sadly, this winter in Kansas just isn't too Jeep friendly lately, and the snow is a bit of a deterrent. Here are some pics and a video (that I haven't even watched yet) of the events:

We get him a new ornament every year. This one is a cute teddy bear in red pajamas next to the number "3" - it reminded me so much of my big boy. Thanks, Hallmark!

Caleb: "This game is AWESOME!" Seriously, if you have a three or four-year-old, go out to Babies R Us and buy a Dr. Seuss game...they're great for building memory and motor skills!

Rainbow cupcakes and Jelly Bellies, yum!
